Truckload of Rebar at Mare Island

Though the Navy left in the 1990s, and many buildings and lots have been left abandoned, Mare Island does still host some activity. Rebar is manufactured here, in some some of the large historic buildings directly across from the dry docks. Trucks filled with the stuff were lined up by the docks.
